I simply love these beautiful angelite beads. The stones are naturally blue and have a soft matte finish. I have not seen any more of these large beads, so when I run out of my supply I will not be able to make any more of these silver cross on blue necklaces. The cross is made of sterling silver wire.

The cross has long been the symbol of the Christian faith. Actually the cross is at the center of our faith. Jesus was God and man at the same time, he lived on this earth but never sinned, he never broke one single law of Gods. He allowed himself to be punished for our sins by being crucified.

Crucifixion was a Roman method of execution. The prisoners were nailed to the crossed timbers and hung out to die. It was a slow painful death. But Jesus did it willingly. After his death Jesus was placed in a tomb that had never been used. Three days later Jesus came back to life! The cross is empty and the tomb is empty!

When I wear my sterling wire wrapped cross with earrings that I made people ask if I made the jewelry I am wearing, (I always do) they will quickly glance at the cross and then look intently at my earrings. So I began to purposely point out that I made the cross pendant, they are all very impressed. I think that if I don’t mention specifically that I made the cross they think it is pre-made. The early Christians were persecuted by the Roman government so they had to go in hiding. In order to secretly identify themselves to other Christians they used to draw a fish in the sand. I am a Christians and it naturally comes out in the designs that I make by hand.
